On Jan 19, 2026, a beautiful 6 month old husky was found in a crate under a bridge in Erie, PA, frozen, starving and clinging to life. The Anna Shelter received the call about the husky and leaped into action to save this beautiful girl, lovingly naming her “Aimee” after one of the volunteers helping with her care. Sadly, on January 23rd, Aimee passed due to cardiac arrest while being stabilized for surgery.
I adopted a puppy on December 15th from the Anna Shelter so they hold a special place in my heart, and then taking in to account all the work they do for rescued animals. So I decided I wanted to do something to give back.
